We have tried many products cases, ranging from large industrial equipment to smaller consumer and recreational products, where plaintiffs have sued for property damage or injury. Many of these claims were allegedly caused by malfunctions, fire and explosions but typically involving misuse as the actual cause. From years of defending such suits, we have developed a bank of experts, medical and technical. We have been the principal sponsor of the annual Medical Device Seminar, attended by over 150 attorneys and insurers nationally who specialize in medical device and drug product litigation.
