Overview

Chris comes to the firm with years of diverse litigation experience.  From Fortune 500 companies, government entities, and individuals, in each case he has handled, his focus has always been his clients and aggressively protecting their interests.  Chris brings that same energy and focus to Sanders, Warren, & Russell in defending our clients in Personal Injury, Construction Litigation, Real Estate Litigation, Labor & Employment, and Professional Liability matters.  He has litigated matters before administrative bodies, trial courts, state and federal appellate courts, and tribal court.

Chris obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Kansas, and his law degree from Washburn University.  While in law school, Chris participated in many mock trial teams, and competed all over the country.  He was awarded the Order of Barristers, the highest award given to those demonstrating a commitment to excellence in legal advocacy and writing.  Since entering private practice, Chris has been an active member, and currently serves on the Board for the Earl E. O’Connor Inns of Court which promotes ethics, civility, and professionalism in the local legal community.

When not defending his clients, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, dog, family and friends.  His middling golf game also provides entertainment for any to see.  A Kansas City native, Chris also spends his free time cheering on the Chiefs, Royals, and Jayhawks.
