Jackson “Jack” Gilkey

Overview
Perspectives

Jack helps clients find the most effective solutions to their most complicated problems. Prior to joining Sanders Warren & Russell, he worked at an international law firm representing clients in complex, multimillion-dollar litigation. Jack now applies his skills defending individuals and businesses in situations ranging from product liability claims to insurance coverage disputes to construction litigation. Navigating a lawsuit can be both confusing and intimidating, so Jack believes actively communicating with his clients at all stages of a proceeding is vital to ensure the best possible outcome. In addition to his litigation practice, Jack also advises and assists clients in registering their business trademarks with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Jack’s educational background in both law and technology allows him to successfully advocate for his clients in any situation, no matter how technically complicated. Jack obtained his chemical engineering degree at the University of Missouri, graduating summa cum laude. Jack stayed at Mizzou for law school, graduating at the top of his class. During law school, he was a note and comment editor for the Missouri Law Review and a member of the national moot court team. Jack also received several awards while at law school, including the Judge L.F. Cottey award for excellence in oral and written advocacy.
